CASP Blueprint

The CASP Blueprint

The Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention (CASP) was Canada's leading suicide prevention organization for over 40 years before it closed its doors on 30 June 2026.

In 2004, CASP issued the first edition of a blueprint for a fully comprehensive national suicide prevention strategy in Canada. In 2009, CASP issued the second edition.

Together, these blueprints provide a clear base framework and plan for setting the stage for a national strategy and provide the framework to ensure some of the required actions of a national strategy.
