Step 2: Review the petition and click 'Sign the petition' at the bottom of the page

Step 4: Navigate to your email and click the confirmation link.
What happens after the petition?
Following the closure of the petition, if there are at least 500 signatures, the petition will be certified by the Clerk of Petitions and presented to the House of Commons.
Following this, the Government of Canada will be required to table a formal response.
The Hope Can't Wait campaign will continue after the petition closes.
